Established in 1921, Ponticelli Frères began by installing and maintaining industrial chimneys. It quickly gained a reputation as a company specialising in the most challenging activities, especially in lifting and rigging.

The development of the company's techniques and equipment allowed it to progressively expand into other business areas (piping and mechanical works) and thus become a major player providing services to industry, especially in oil & gas, petrochemical and energy production.
